Every year, millions of people around the world make New Year’s resolutions to get fit and lose weight. And every year, just as many people fail to stick to their resolutions. If you’re one of those people who always seems to fall off the fitness wagon, don’t despair! This year can be different. With a little planning and effort, you can make your fitness New Year’s resolution a reality. In fact, it’s not as hard as some people make it. With the right mindset and realistic approach, you can achieve all of those goals that you always dreamt about.

In this article, we are going to help you understand how you can stick to your resolution. So you can start right away and also pick up a fresh pair of Nike’s with a Nike discount code of 10%.

    1. Set realistic goals

One of the biggest reasons why people fail to stick to their fitness resolutions is that they set themselves up for failure by setting unrealistic goals. If you’re starting from scratch, it’s probably not realistic to expect that you’ll be able to run a marathon by March or even decide to go to the gym six times a week. Set smaller, achievable goals that you can realistically achieve within the next few months. For example, aim to walk for 30 minutes three times per week or take a beginners’ running class and do a full body workout three times per week.

    2. Find an accountability partner

Having someone to hold you accountable can make all the difference when it comes to sticking to your fitness goals. Find a friend or family member who is also looking to get healthy in the new year and commit to working out together on a regular basis. Alternatively, you could join a local sports team or sign up for a class at your gym.

    3. Make a plan

It’s easier to stick to your resolution if you have a plan in place for how you’re going to achieve your fitness goals. Decide in advance when and where you’re going to exercise each week, and put it in your calendar. That way, you won’t have any excuses not to stick to your plan.

    4. Be prepared

The better prepared you are for your workouts, the more likely you are to actually do them. Invest in some quality workout clothes and shoes so that you feel comfortable and confident when exercising. And always make sure that you have everything you need—water bottle, towel, etc.—before heading out the door.

The New Year is a great time to commit to our health and fitness goals. But all too often, our good intentions fall by the wayside by February. How can we make sure that doesn’t happen this year? By setting achievable goals, finding workout partners, and making a plan (and sticking to it), that’s how! With a little planning and effort, you can make this your healthiest year yet!
